Tillamook Bay also is an important recreation center on the Oregon Coast.  Charter boats for crabbing and deep sea fishing are available.  The Tillamook County Pioneer Museum preserves county history, and the Tillamook Naval Air Station Museum houses restored military aircraft.  The city also is the home of the Tillamook County Fair in August featuring the Pig and Ford Race.  The Dairy Festival and Parade is held the fourth weekend in June.
