The World War II U.S. Naval Air Base is located two miles south of Tillamook on Highway 101.  Exhibits include a collection of World War II aircraft maintained in flying condition as well as over 100 historic photographs and memorabilia depicting the history of the hangars, the World War II Navy base and lighter than air craft.  The hangar itself is noted in the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest wooden structure in the world.  For more information and more pictures visit the Naval Air Museum 's Official Web site.
